This is just a BIG thank you to everyone at Brenners Children's Hospital NICU for everything that you did to comfort our family today in our great time of need. To Dr Parsons, Dr. Rubin, Dr. Patel, Dr. Kirse (and I know I am leaving some out)--but all the Doctors; Surgeons, Nurses, Medical Students, Friends, Family--Prayers--monetary--thoughts--gifts--food--(there is no way that I could possibly send a thank you to all that have sent any of the above). I hope that each of you will accept this as a thank you from the very bottom of our hearts with most warmth--Because of you Dani Jo will be strong, God will give us strength and make our family stronger than we have ever been before. This will be a life changing experience for our family and I know with your support and prayers we will conquer!
Most of all thank you to the mother of another CCHS, our true Angel in disguise. I know that it wasn't by chance that it just so happened that her son has CCHS, nor was it by chance that she worked in the Peds OR, not was it by chance that she would be by Dani Jo's side during her surgery; the same surgery that her son underwent close to 2 years ago. This was not coincidence at all. Coincidence is when God works anonymously!!!!! Thank you so much Crystal. As we embraced before Dani Jo went down for surgery, there was an overwhelming feeling of peace come over me and I knew no one would ever know my pain the way you would. I have a special love in my heart for you and your family and thank God for sending you our way!!!!!

I just recently found out about Dani Jo. I just found out about your site only tonight.l It broke my heart...can't stop crying... to see her all hooked up to everything. I know you have shed many tears and said many prayers... not in doubt but in faith....God has given you a special little angel. He must think you guys are pretty special too to entrust her in your care. She is beautiful. You all are in my prayers. I have not forgotten you. I think of you often. I miss seeing you guys. I love you all very much. If I can help you out in any way, please let me know! (Amanda...your mama Kay still loves you very much and I am here if you need me!) My number is in the book if you ever want to talk! "NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD" Luke 1:37 and He is working even when we don't understand. I look forward to hearing the good reports. I am glad to hear that the surgery went well for Dani Jo..you little angel will be feeling better real soon...we will all pray that she gets stronger and healther each passing day.

Dear Joey, Amanda and family,
Thank you!! for being open to me and allowing me to help you in any way that I can...I understand where you are and I hope that in some way the experiences and knowledge Andy and I and our family have gained over the past two years will help you as you begin your journey with Dani Jo. She is a blessed little girl to have the two of you and her two big sisters!!! You will soon find out just how EXTRAORDINARY and RARE your little Dani Jo is and will be to world around her, not just because she has this rare syndrome, but because she is an angel given to us here on earth to teach us more about ourselves, one another and the world around us!! There is a reason and a purpose and maybe someday we will understand the whys...but until then...let God be praised for all that HE has done and for all that HE WILL do!!!
