Dani Jo came to hospital yesterday afternoon in hopes of having her colostomy reversed, but the surgery was postponed because she had developed an infection in her trach. She spent the night at the hospital. She will probably go home sometime this afternoon.
The doctor has postponed her surgery for about three weeks to make sure the infection is completely gone before the surgery.
Dani Jo has had several members from her first family (NICU staff) stop by and visit her last night and today. Many thanks to Nurse Angela for stopping by and loving on Dani Jo. Most of them are amazed at how much she has grown, but she will be five months old on Wednesday.
Thanks to all of you for your prayers for her today and everyday. We'll keep you posted on the new surgery date when we find out.

It was so good to smooch all over you this weekend! I have missed you the last few weeks. I know you were ready to have your surgery and get rid of that bag, especially since you were trying to pull it off Sunday, but I guess God wasn't ready for it to be gone just yet.
