Thank you Everyone!!!!

Hello everyone,

Sorry we haven't posted in a while. It has been kind of hectic lately. Dani Jo is doing great and is ready to see everyone at the benefit tomorrow evening. We are very excited for you all to finally meet her. She has been such a blessing in our lives that we cannot put into words. Before the benefit, we would like to thank everyone that has already given to our family. I know that God will take care of His own. We have been faithful to Him and we are blessed to have each of you in our lives. Everyone has already shown us how much they care.

Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!!

We love each of you and even though some of you we don't know, we love you for your love for our family.

God's promises are true and even though our journey thus far has had its ups and downs, God has not put on us too much to handle. He has been with us each step of the way. And He has carried us when we were too weak to walk. We continue to give God all the glory for all He has blessed our family with. Dani Jo has not been a burden but truly a blessing to our family.

A lot of people don't understand how something like this could happen to a baby; well she is God's vessel and He is using her everyday to touch others. He has made her just the way she is, it wasn't a mistake, God is going to use her like no other. She has already touched so many and I foresee her touching lives for a long time. God loves Dani Jo very much and how fortunate she is that He is using her to show God's compassion, strength, and most of all love.

Again we thank each of you from the bottom of our hearts and look forward to seeing each of you tomorrow evening at her benefit. We love you all..

Out and About and Havin' FUN!

Yes she is outside swinging, you are not seeing things...

Yes, Aunt Jenn Jenn did fuss at us for not posting...Sorry just been crazy...but we have taken some really cute pics of her and her sisters! Nurse Lisa and Dani Jo played outside this week. Dani Jo's first play date outside.

Update from Aunt Jenn Jenn

This is Aunt Jenn Jenn. I fussed at Amanda today because her and Joey have not given any updates in the last week. I know they are extremely busy, but I also know many of you check daily for updates on Dani Jo. I wanted to let you all know that Dani Jo came home from the hospital on Saturday. She has been doing really well at home. She has been able to come off of the ventilator often when she is awake. Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers. Please keep Dani Jo, Joey, Amanda, Jordan and Jamie in your prayers. All of this is tough on them but their faith in God helps them get through it all, along with family, friends and strangers they have never met.

Back at the Hospital

Dani Jo came home from the hospital Tuesday afternoon. She just wasn't herself Tuesday night and yesterday morning. She was requiring high levels of oxygen to keep her sats up and was very unresponsive. She was taken to the hospital in Mt. Airy, where her condition seemed to get a bit worse. She was using 12-15 liters of oxygen to keep her sats in the 80's. They diagnosed her with double pneumonia at the hospital in Mt. Airy. They then transported her back here to Brenner's. She seemed to improve as we were traveling down in the ambulance. Since getting here, we have been able to get her back down to about 1-2 liters of oxygen to keep her satting at 100.

Drs. just came in and said the results of the CT scan were normal. She is much more alert and awake today and seems to be improving. This dr. talked about maybe watching her for another day or two to see if she does ok and possibly going home sometime this weekend. Right now there is no real explanation for what happened yesterday. The drs. here do not believe it is pnemonia. Her blood tests do not indicate any infection.

In my own medical opinion, I have diagnosed Dani Jo with a bad case of homesickness. I think she thinks she lives here and doesn't understand why we keep trying to take her out of here.

Thank you for your prayers and calls.
We love you all,
The Hearls
